Wordery's Returns Policy
Should you change your mind about an item, Wordery operates a no-questions-asked returns policy, provided you return your item within 21 working days of delivery. This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. A full refund will be given for the returned item/s and the original postage costs upon receipt of item arriving in our distribution centre. Any postage costs incurred when returning your item/s will be at your own cost.
In all cases, unwanted items should be returned in their original packaging, in pristine condition, with the delivery note/receipt, and at your own expense to our return address detailed below. If you are returning multiple copies of the same book, please make sure this is highlighted or noted on the delivery note/receipt.
Items should be returned to us by the most economical method. They remain your property until we have received them.
Always use your order number as a return reference, making sure it is written clearly on the packaging. This information can be found on your order confirmation or dispatch email.
NB You do not need to contact us to advise you are returning a book. However this is recommended when returning high value books.
Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
- The book(s) must be returned within twenty-one days of receipt.
- The book(s) must be in pristine condition, and in the original packaging.
- The book(s) must be accompanied by a copy of the delivery note or receipt
All returns are accepted at the discretion of Wordery.com, and refunds will be given in the same tender type as the original payment.

Proof of Postage:
Please request and retain a proof of postage receipt when returning an item back to us. We recommend retaining this information until your refund has been actioned and you can see this in your account.
Please allow up to 10 working days for your return to be processed once it has arrived back at our distribution centre
Damaged Books:
If you have received a damaged book, please see our damage instructions here before contacting us.
We do ask that any damaged items are reported to us within 72 hours, and photographs are provided showing the issue with the item.
We will assess your query and respond accordingly as soon as possible.
Faulty / Defective Books:
If you have received a faulty book, eg with insecure binding, or it has been misprinted, please contact Customer Services asap by email to help@wordery.com.
We do ask that all faulty items are reported to us within 72 hours where possible, and photographs are provided showing the issue with the item.
We will assess your query and respond accordingly.
NB Depending on the issue, some misprints in books or binding faults may only be discovered at a later date, however, please let us know of the problem as soon as it is discovered, and we will advise further.
I Received an Incorrect Book:
If on the rare occasion we have made a mistake when fulfilling your order, please contact Customer Services asap by email to help@wordery.com for advice on a replacement or return.
We do ask that incorrectly supplied items are reported to us within 72 hours, and photographs are provided showing the incorrect item, alongside the dispatch note/receipt.
We will assess your query and respond accordingly as soon as possible.
Exceptions:
This policy does not extend to any perishable items, sealed audio, video recording, or computer software, which are subject to our standard returns policy (see below).
After the 21 day period:
After the no-questions-asked 21 day period we will be happy to accept items for return if the book has later been found to be faulty. See above for how to contact us for faulty items.
